Please complete the following steps for fast and easy registration. Complete the paperwork and make your payment by 5/15 to avoid a $25 late fee.

Step 1: Review the age categories and team placement philosophy.

Category	Grade: Fall 2010	Placement Philosophy
U10 U11 U12	4 5 6	We place all registered players on a team. When we compose more than one team for a single age level, we make every attempt to balance the teams.
U13 U14*	7 8	There is one team for each age level. The roster of each team is usually limited to 18 players.

*Note: "U14" literally means that every player on the team must be "Under 14" at the start of the season. Players in grade 8 who turn 14 before August 1, 2010 are not eligible. For more details on eligibility, please review our policies.

Step 2: Register directly with the Colts by May 15, 2010. There are two easy ways:

• You can register using Colts' online/mail registration process now through May 15th. To do so:
  1. Complete the online registration form required by Soccer Maine. A few notes:
     • Please register each player as a new, individual user.
     • Occasionally, this system finds prior information for a player and prompts you to select the player and provide a password. Please ignore this by clicking the checkbox next to "I do not have an account," then proceed to create a new account.
  2. If you are new to Colts, provide a copy of your child's birth certificate. We already have copies on file for returning players.
  3. Make your $120.00 check payable to "Yarmouth Colts".
     Refund Policy: Colts will refund the full registration amount to U13/U14 players who are not selected for the team. For all other players, the refund policy is as follows. If you withdraw prior to 7/1, you will receive a refund minus a $25 registration fee. Refunds aren't available after 7/1.
  4. Mail the participation fee and copy of birth certificate (for new players only) by 5/15 to:

• Or, you can register in person on May 6th at YES from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Please bring the items mentioned in steps 2 and 3 above.

  Note: Be sure to complete the registration process and make payment by 5/15 to avoid a $25 late fee. Players may not practice or play until fully registered. Colts' scholarships and payment plans are available.

At the U10-U12 levels, we use the evaluation sessions to determine player ability and then compose balanced teams. At the U13 and U14 levels, we use evaluation sessions to select an appropriate roster for each team. Please note the change for U13 and U14 players. In prior years, we evaluated them during Colts camp. This year, the U13/U14 players will be evaluated on May 23rd and teams will be announced by July 1st.

For your evaluation, please:

• arrive 15 minutes early
• wear shinguards and comfortable clothing (cleats are optional)
• bring a water bottle
• bring a pair of sneakers, if you're wearing cleats

Step 4: Receive a phone call or email from the coach of the team on which your child was placed.

After we compose teams and coaching staffs, we will have your coach contact you directly. We will also post a list of the teams and their coaches (but not the team rosters) on the Teams page of this web site.
